NZART Southland Branch

We are an amateur radio club, offering meetings and training. We also offer communications in emergencies through our Amateur Radio Emergency Communications group, specialising in Civil Defence and Search & Rescue emergencies, but also for events such as car rallies.

👥 Club Meetings

Our club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month exepct January. Meetings are from 1930 until late so come around and take a look! AREC meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month.

We hold a weekly club net on our Bald Hill Repeater every Sunday at 2000 hours.

🗼 Repeaters

Branch 37 maintains three amateur radio repeaters across the 2m and 70cm bands.

Bluff Hill 5775 is a 2m multimode repeater offering various digital modes of operation.

Bald Hill 680 is a 2m analogue repeater servicing most of Southland.

Invercargill 870 is a 70cm analogue repeater servicing the Invercargill area.
