We are an amateur radio club, offering meetings and training. We also offer communications in emergencies through our Amateur Radio Emergency Communications activities, specialising in Civil Defence and Search & Rescue emergencies, but also helping out with events such as car rallies.

👥 Club Meetings

Our club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month exepct January. Meetings are from 1930 until late so come around and take a look! AREC meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month.

We hold a weekly club net on our Bald Hill Repeater every Sunday at 2000 hours.

Branch 37 maintains three amateur radio repeaters across the 2m and 70cm bands.

Bluff Hill 5775 is a 2m multimode repeater offering various digital modes of operation.

Bald Hill 680 is a 2m analogue repeater servicing most of Southland.

Invercargill 870 is a 70cm analogue repeater servicing the Invercargill area.
