Automatic Packet Reporting System is an AX.25 based system that allows for the digital transmission of position information, text messages, weather telemetry, and more. A digipeter run by ZL4FOX located on the Blue Mountians near Tapanui gives some APRS service to Southland, connecting us through to Dunedin, Central Otago, and the Waitaki.
